DM7 Firmware V1.70

Please read the following instructions and notes before updating DM7 series consoles.

Cautions when updating

Use "dm7_firm170.zip" for the update.
When updating, copy the unzipped file "DM7_firmware_V1.70.bin" to the root directory of a USB flash drive, and follow the instructions on the update guide. The Dante firmware also needs to be updated. This can be achieved at the same time by using the same USB flash drive.
When updating the Dante firmware, the message "Dante Update Error. Dante Primary Port has no network link." may appear. In this case, connect another network device to the Dante Primary port and follow the update guide. Ensure that the link-up status remains active during the update process.
Do not update the firmware of multiple units at the same time when they are connected to the Dante ports of the DM7/DM7 Compact in a daisy chain configuration. During the update process, the link may go down as the Dante module reboots, which can prevent the update from completing successfully.
*IMPORTANT NOTES*
Before copying the firmware files, delete all other files with extension .BIN from the root directory of the USB flash drive.

Cautions when using d&b audiotechnik DS10 Audio network bridge

When DM7 or DM7 Compact is connected to the same Dante network with d&b audiotechnik DS10 Audio network bridge, please ensure that all DS10 units are running firmware V2.0.4.1, available via Dante Updater. If running older firmware, the Dante Device Mounting process on DM7 may not work correctly or behaves in an unstable manner. This prevents external Dante I/O devices, such as R series, from working correctly with DM7.

DM7 Series Firmware/Editor Compatibility

Please make sure an appropriate version of Editor software is used, which is compatible with your console firmware in reference to the following compatibility chart. Using an unsupported Firmware/Editor and other related software combination may result in unexpected behavior.

Solved a problem with patch changes not working correctly in the MONITOR SOURCE DEFINE view.
Solved a problem in which if a paired input channel was created using channels patched from Dante, the gain values of OMNI IN ports 1&2 were reset to -6dB.
Solved a problem that caused audio to stop for a channel inserted to the B side of a RACK EQ when the Rack EQ type was changed to 31BandGEQ.
Solved a problem in which the manufacturer name of supported 3rd party products was not displayed in the DEVICE SELECT view.
Solved a problem that caused temporary recall safe to be unintentionally activated when a new channel pair was created by taking a channel from an existing channel pair using SEL keys.
Solved a problem when switching to SECONDARY Dante link when in Dante redundant mode, did not result in an error message being displayed for the second or any subsequent switchover to the SECONDARY Link.
Solved a problem in which if the User login view was displayed on both Bay L and Bay C screens and one screen was used to login a user, the view on the other screen was not closed. (DM7 only)
Solved a problem in which incorrect settings were displayed in the Focus Recall view for channels included in CH Link that had Focus Recall enabled.
Solved a problem in which recalling the CH Library of an input channel with a Dante patch did not recall the analog gain of HA or +48V on/off values.
Solved a problem that caused the Secondary IP Address to always be displayed as 0.0.0.0 on the DANTE SETUP (Device Mount) view.
Solved a problem in which metering was not displayed in the on-screen meter area for Selected CH or SEND MAIN if assigned to a custom fader bank.
Solved a problem in which fader calibration was not functioning properly.

Known Issues

After changing the Time Zone, Date, and Time settings in the Date/Time screen of the Setup menu, Dante device discovery, mounting, parameter synchronization, or Dante patch modification of externally connected Dante devices may not function correctly. If this symptom occurs, please reboot the DM7 unit. This problem will be fixed in a future firmware update.
If the word clock frequency is 96kHz and the delay value of an FX plug-in is set above a certain value, audio on the Right channel may not output. In that case, reduce the delay value.
If the Dante Primary port and the PC network port are connected to the same network switch, communication may become unstable even if the subnets of the FOR MIXER CONTROL IP Address and FOR DEVICE CONTROL IP address are different. To solve this, Dante Primary and Mixer Control data should run on separate networks, either by being physically separated or by using 2 VLANs.
If both the Redundant button and the Split button are turned ON when there is no audio signal input in the MADI IN 1/2 terminal of the PY64-MD, a warning "PY Card Error, Internal Connection" will appear on the DM7 utility screen.

Notices for usage

After executing "Initialize All" on MAINTENANCE screen, the Dante module will be reset to DAISY CHAIN mode. If Dante is used with a redundant connection, unplug the Dante network cables before initializing, reconfigure the Dante settings and then re-attach the network cables.
When Dante is operating on the Secondary network connection, Mounted Devices can become Virtual and Dante settings cannot be controlled. This is normal behavior. Dante audio and R series device HA control are not affected and remain fully operational on the Dante Secondary connection.

Notices in version updating

When updating DM7 or DM7 Compact from V1.51, the firmware update procedure will run twice automatically. This is a normal operation to resolve an internal data mismatch.
The maintenance screen may appear when the DM7/DM7 Compact is restarted after Initialize All Memory is executed. In this case, restart the power supply of the DM7/DM7 Compact.

NOTICES

When setting up the latency in Dante Controller, and there is a discrepancy in latency between the transmit device and the receive device, the largest (slowest) latency setting of the two devices will be applied.

ACORDAREA LICENȚEI ȘI A DREPTURILOR DE AUTOR

Yamaha vă acordă astfel dreptul de a utiliza programele și fișierele de date care compun software-ul care însoțește acest Acord și toate programele și fișierele pentru modernizarea unui astfel de software care vi se poate distribui în viitor cu termenii și condițiile atașate (colectiv "SOFTWARE"), numai pe un computer, un instrument muzical sau un echipament pe care îl dețineți sau îl gestionați. Deși dreptul de proprietate asupra mediului de stocare în care este stocat SOFTWARE-ul rămâne în obligativitatea dvs., SOFTWARE-ul propriu-zis este deținut de licențiatorii Yamaha și/sau Yamaha și este protejat de legile în vigoare privind drepturile de autor și de toate prevederile aplicabile tratatului.

RESTRICȚII

Este posibil să nu aveți competență în inginerie, dezasamblare, decompilare sau orice altceva ce derivă dintr-o formă de cod sursă a SOFTWARE-ului prin orice tip de metodă.
Nu puteți reproduce, modifica, schimba, închiria, transmite prin leasing sau distribui SOFTWARE-ul integral sau parțial sau crea lucrări derivate ale SOFTWARE-ului.
Nu este permis să transmiteți SOFTWARE-ul electronic de la un computer la altul sau să partajați SOFTWARE-ul într-o rețea cu alte computere
Nu este permis să utilizați SOFTWARE-ul pentru a distribui date sau date ilegale care încalcă politica publică.
Nu este permis să inițiați servicii bazate pe utilizarea SOFTWARE-ului fără permisiunea companiei Yamaha Corporation.

Datele protejate prin drepturi de autor, incluzând dar fără a se limita la datele MIDI pentru cântece, obținute prin SOFTWARE, se supun următoarelor restricții pe care trebuie să le respectați.

Datele primite prin intermediul SOFTWARE-ului nu pot fi utilizate în scopuri comerciale fără permisiunea proprietarului drepturilor de autor.
Datele primite prin SOFTWARE nu pot fi duplicate, transferate sau distribuite sau redate sau difuzate pentru ascultători în public, fără permisiunea proprietarului drepturilor de autor.
Criptarea datelor primite prin SOFTWARE nu poate fi eliminată și nici filigranul electronic nu poate fi modificat fără permisiunea proprietarului drepturilor de autor.

REZILIEREA

Dacă o lege privind drepturile de autor sau prevederile prezentului Acord sunt încălcate, Acordul se va încheia în mod automat și imediat fără notificare din partea Yamaha. În urma unei astfel de încetări, trebuie să distrugeți imediat SOFTWARE-ul licențiat, orice documente însoțitoare scrise și toate copiile acestuia.

DESCĂRCARE SOFTWARE

Dacă credeți că procesul de descărcare a fost defectuos, puteți contacta Yamaha, iar Yamaha vă va permite să descărcați din nou SOFTWARE-ul, cu condiția să distrugeți primele copiile sau copiile parțiale ale SOFTWARE-ului obținute prin încercarea de descărcare anterioară. Această permisiune de a descărca din nou nu trebuie să limiteze în niciun fel renunțarea la garanție din Secțiunea 5 de mai jos.

DECLINAREA GARANȚIEI SOFTWARE-ULUI

Recunoașteți în mod expres și sunteți de acord că folosirea SOFTWARE-ului este pe riscul dumneavoastră.. SOFTWARE-ul și documentația aferentă sunt furnizate "CA ATARE" și fără garanții de orice fel. FĂRĂ A SE ADRESA PRIN ORICE ALT TIP DE PROVIZIOANE ALE ACESTUI ACORD, YAMAHA DECLINĂ ÎN MOD EXPRES ORICE GARANȚII PRIVIND SOFTWARE-ULUI, EXPRES ȘI IMPLICIT, INCLUZÂND, DAR FĂRĂ A SE LIMITA LA GARANȚIILE IMPLICITE DE VANDABILITATE, ADECVARE PENTRU UN ANUMIT SCOP ȘI NEÎNCĂLCAREA DREPTURILOR TERȚE. ÎN MOD SPECIFIC, DAR FĂRĂ A SE LIMITA, YAMAHA NU GARANTEAZĂ CĂ SOFTWARE-UL VA RĂSPUNDE CERINȚELOR DUMNEAVOASTRĂ, CĂ FUNCȚIONAREA SOFTWARE-ULUI VA FI NEÎNTRERUPTĂ SAU FĂRĂ EROARE, SAU CĂ DEFECȚIUNILE DIN SOFTWARE VOR FI CORECTATE.

LIMITAREA RĂSPUNDERII

OBLIGAȚIA GENERALĂ A YAMAHA ESTE DE A PERMITE UTILIZAREA SOFTWARE-ULUI ÎN CONFORMITATE CU TERMENII STIPULAȚI. ÎN NICI UN CAZ, YAMAHA NU VA FI RESPONSABILĂ PENTRU DVS. SAU ORICE ALTĂ PERSOANĂ PENTRU ORICE DAUNE, INCLUZÂND, FĂRĂ LIMITARE, DAUNE DIRECTE, INDIRECTE, ACCIDENTALE SAU CONSECUTIVE, CHELTUIELI, PIERDERI, PIERDERI DE DATELE SAU ALTE DAUNE PROVENITE DIN UTILIZARE, INCAPACITATEA DE A UTILIZA SOFTWARE-UL, CHIAR DACĂ YAMAHA SAU UN DISTRIBUITOR AUTORIZAT A FOST INFORMAT DE POSIBILITATEA UNOR ASTFEL DE DAUNE. În niciun caz, răspunderea totală a Yamaha față de dvs. pentru toate daunele, pierderile și cauzele acțiunii (indiferent dacă este contractuală, delictuală sau de altă natură) ce depășesc suma plătită pentru SOFTWARE.

SOFTWARE TERȚI

Software-ul și datele părților terțe ("SOFTWARE TERȚI") pot fi atașate la SOFTWARE. În cazul în care, în materialele scrise sau pe datele electronice care însoțesc Software-ul, Yamaha identifică orice software și date ca SOFTWARE TERȚI, recunoașteți și sunteți de acord că trebuie să respectați prevederile oricărui acord furnizat împreună cu SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI și că partea SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI este responsabilă de orice garanție sau răspundere legată de sau provenind din SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI. Yamaha nu este răspunzătoare în niciun fel pentru SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI sau pentru utilizarea de către dvs.

Yamaha nu oferă garanții exprese cu privire la SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI. ÎN PLUS, Yamaha DECLINĂ ÎN MOD EXPRES ORICE GARANȚIE IMEDIATĂ, INCLUSIV, DAR FĂRĂ A SE LIMITA LA GARANȚIILE IMEDIATE DE COMERCIALIZARE ȘI DE ADECVARE PENTRU UN ANUMIT SCOP, ÎN CEEA CE PRIVEȘTE SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI.
Yamaha nu vă va furniza niciun service sau serviciu de întreținere cu privire la SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI.
Yamaha nu este răspunzătoare în fața dvs. sau a oricărei alte persoane pentru orice daune, inclusiv, fără limitare, daune directe, indirecte, incidentale sau consecutive, cheltuieli, profituri pierdute, date pierdute sau alte daune rezultate din utilizare, utilizarea incorectă sau incapacitatea de a folosi SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI.

NOTIFICAREA DREPTURILOR RESTRICȚIONATE DE GUVERNUL SUA:

Software-ul este un "element comercial", deoarece acest termen este definit la 48 C.F.R. 2.101 (octombrie 1995), constând în "software de calculator comercial" și "documentație comercială de software de calculator", astfel sunt utilizați acești termeni în 48 C.F.R. 12.212 (septembrie 1995). În concordanță cu 48 C.F.R. 12.212 și 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 până la 227.72024 (iunie 1995), toți utilizatorii finali din S.U.A. vor achiziționa Software-ul numai cu acele drepturi enunțate în prezentul document.

GENERAL

Prezentul acord va fi interpretat în conformitate cu legea japoneză și va fi guvernat de aceasta fără a se face referire la principiile conflictului între legi. Orice litigiu sau procedură vor fi audiate în fața instanței din Tokyo, Japonia. Dacă, din orice motiv, o instanță de jurisdicție competentă consideră că o parte din prezentul acord este inaplicabilă, restul acestui acord va continua să fie în vigoare și să producă efecte.

COMPLETAREA ACORDULUI

Prezentul Acord constituie întregul acord între părți cu privire la utilizarea SOFTWARE-ului și a oricăror materiale scrise însoțitoare și înlocuiește toate înțelegerile sau înțelegerile anterioare sau contemporane, în scris sau oral, referitoare la obiectul prezentului Acord. Nicio modificare sau revizuire a acestui Acord nu va fi obligatorie decât în scris și semnată de un reprezentant complet autorizat al Yamaha.
