CL5 Firmware V4.01 (Previous version)

We identified a bug with V4.00 firmware, in which, under certain conditions, fader values will not be changed when the faders are moved manually. We have released the bug-fix firmware V4.01 and strongly ask you to update the firmware V4.00 to V4.01.

Use this file to update CL5/3/1 to V4.01. Please read the following instructions before updating.

Caution when updating

Use the "cl*_firm401.zip" (* is the model number) when updating.
Copy files "CL_SUBP_V400.BIN" and "MCLP4_01.PGM" to the root directory of the USB memory. Follow the instructions on the update guide.
If updating from CL V1.61 or older, or if the message "NAME SUB CPU is old" appears after updating to V4.01, copy "CL-MD101.BIN" file in CL*_firm401/NAME SUB (* is the model number) to the root directory of the USB memory. Follow the instructions on the update guide. This method allows you to update both the Dante firmware and the "CL_SUBP_V400.BIN" and "MCLP4_01.PGM" files together at the same time.

*IMPORTANT NOTE*

Before copying files, delete all files with extension .PGM and .BIN if any exists in the root directory of the USB memory. Prior to V3.0, the CL and QL Series used different files when updating, but both files used the same name * "C-MD1.BIN." For this reason, an error may occur during update when the incorrect "C-MD1.BIN" file is used or left in the root directory.
Updating Dante firmware by using a USB memory takes approximately 30 minutes.

Please do not use the EEE function (*) of network switches in a Dante network.

Although power management should be negotiated automatically in switches that support EEE, some switches do not perform the negotiation properly. This may cause EEE to be enabled in Dante networks when it is not appropriate, resulting in poor synchronization performance and occasional dropouts.

Therefore we strongly recommend that:

1. If you use managed switches, ensure that they allow EEE to be disabled. Make sure that EEE is disabled on all ports used for real-time Dante traffic.
2. If you use unmanaged switches, make sure to not use network switches that support EEE
* EEE (Energy Efficient Ethernet) is a technology that reduces switch power consumption during periods of low network traffic. It is also known as Green Ethernet and IEEE802.3az.

Cautions for Dante Firmware

You need to update the Dante-MY16-AUD firmware to V3.3.9 or later before using the Dante-MY16-AUD with the CL series.
The Dante Firmware Update Manager v1.4.16.6 for Mac does not support Mac OS X 10.6.8. Please use Mac OS X 10.7.5, 10.8.5, 10.9.5, 10.10.x, or 10.11.x
The Dante Firmware Update Manager v1.4.16.6 for Windows does not support Windows XP. Please use Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, or Windows 10.
We found a problem in which the Dante settings might not be properly initialized when the firmware is updated, which results in data inconsistency between the CL/QL console and the R series units. This might occur only when the Dante Latency was set to 0.25ms or 0.5ms. Therefore, after updating, it is recommend to briefly change the Latency to 1.0ms on the console with the Console ID #1, then restore the original setting again. This will remove the possible data inconsistency between the console and the mounted R series units. However, Dante Controller will be needed to manually change the settings of R series units that are not mounted on the console with Console ID #1.

CL/QL/RIVAGE/R/Tio Series Editor/Firmware/R Remote Compatibility

Please make sure to use appropriate version of CL Editor or QL Editor which is compatible with your console firmware in reference to the following compatibility chart. Using an unsupported Editor/firmware combination may result in unexpected behavior.
The Firmware Set is a set of main (and sub) firmware of the device and the Dante firmware. The version of Firmware Set is the same as the version of the main firmware. Refer to the release note of each firmware about the details of the Firmware Set.

Compatibility List

You can use the following amount of CL/QL/R Remote units to remotely control each device unit. RSio64-D/Tio1608-D: Maximum of two CL/QL/R Remote units. RMio64-D: Maximum of six CL/QL/R Remote units. Rio/Ri/Ro: Maximum of four CL/QL units plus two separate computers operating R Remote. You can connect maximum of ten iOS devices operating MonitorMix. Improvements in V4.00 The version number, when the memorized contents of each category correspond to that version's specifications, is shown in the FILE LOAD function. You can now stack the OUT and DCA IN with LAST CUE, just as with the MIX CUE. Fixed bugs in V4.00 Solved a problem in which the SCENE 000 data was transferred via MIDI when recalling a Library of the Buss Comp 369. Solved a problem in which faders resisted any manual adjustment when scenes were recalled with the faders made safe by Recall Safe. Solved a problem in which, when performing Ch Move for a channel which is a member of a Ch Link, the channel parameters might (in some cases) be altered according to Ch Link A settings, rather than maintaining the correct settings of the channel. Fixed bugs in V4.01 Solved a problem in which, under certain conditions, fader values would not be changed when the faders were moved manually. Solved a problem in which V4.00 console was not able to load the data which had been made on the QL V1.0x or CL V1.70/V2.0x, and would show the warning message "Out of Range". Known issue When an RSio64-D is not mounted, loading a console file which includes the information for mounting with an RSio64-D would cause initialization of the user patching. The problem occurs because the console could not get the device information properly. If Dante Virtual Soundcard (DVS) is patched to the CL series device using Dante Controller, the patching may not be recalled correctly when the CL series device is restarted. In such cases, patch the DVS again. In addition, when using a version of DVS for Windows that is older than v3.2.0, patches after CH41 cannot be performed from CL series consoles. Loading of a file created by version V1.15 or older will not include the mount information of Dante devices other than any connected R-series. It is the same when recalling a DANTE INPUT PATCH LIBRARY. Please reset MOUNT, PATCH, and DANTE INPUT PATCH Library data using V1.51 or later if necessary. NOTICE When setting up the latency in Dante Controller, and there is a discrepancy in latency with the transmit device or the receive device, the largest (slowest) latency setting becomes effective. The following device labels are used for detecting a SUPPORTED DEVICE. Y###-********** # is a three-digit hexadecimal number containing the digits 0 - 9 and uppercase A - F (000 - FFF) *indicates any desired character (alphabetical uppercase or lowercase, numerals, or -(hyphen) may be used) Up to 31 characters including the 'Y' are supported. For the R-series, make sure that the ID indicated by Y###- is not duplicated by any other R-series unit, even if it is a different size. In V2.0 and later, custom fader bank settings are not only included in user settings, but in scene data as well. The custom fader bank settings that are called up vary depending on the logged-in user, the type of the loaded data, and the version. Please note the following points: If you load console data of the ALL type as Administrator, the custom fader bank settings for the saved Administrator are recalled. If you load ALL data as Guest or another user, the custom fader bank settings for the saved current scene are called up. If you load ALL data that was saved in CL V1.70 or earlier, since scenes do not include custom fader bank settings, the custom fader bank settings for the current scene when the load was performed are applied to all scenes. Therefore, before loading ALL data, we recommend that you either change users to set the custom fader bank to the desired setting, or that you enable Recall Safe for the custom fader bank. File Converter V3.0.0, compatible with CL firmware V2.00, V3 and V4.00, and QL firmware V3 and V4.00, has been made available for use.

ACORDAREA LICENȚEI ȘI A DREPTURILOR DE AUTOR

Yamaha vă acordă astfel dreptul de a utiliza programele și fișierele de date care compun software-ul care însoțește acest Acord și toate programele și fișierele pentru modernizarea unui astfel de software care vi se poate distribui în viitor cu termenii și condițiile atașate (colectiv "SOFTWARE"), numai pe un computer, un instrument muzical sau un echipament pe care îl dețineți sau îl gestionați. Deși dreptul de proprietate asupra mediului de stocare în care este stocat SOFTWARE-ul rămâne în obligativitatea dvs., SOFTWARE-ul propriu-zis este deținut de licențiatorii Yamaha și/sau Yamaha și este protejat de legile în vigoare privind drepturile de autor și de toate prevederile aplicabile tratatului.

RESTRICȚII

Este posibil să nu aveți competență în inginerie, dezasamblare, decompilare sau orice altceva ce derivă dintr-o formă de cod sursă a SOFTWARE-ului prin orice tip de metodă.
Nu puteți reproduce, modifica, schimba, închiria, transmite prin leasing sau distribui SOFTWARE-ul integral sau parțial sau crea lucrări derivate ale SOFTWARE-ului.
Nu este permis să transmiteți SOFTWARE-ul electronic de la un computer la altul sau să partajați SOFTWARE-ul într-o rețea cu alte computere
Nu este permis să utilizați SOFTWARE-ul pentru a distribui date sau date ilegale care încalcă politica publică.
Nu este permis să inițiați servicii bazate pe utilizarea SOFTWARE-ului fără permisiunea companiei Yamaha Corporation.

REZILIEREA

Dacă o lege privind drepturile de autor sau prevederile prezentului Acord sunt încălcate, Acordul se va încheia în mod automat și imediat fără notificare din partea Yamaha. În urma unei astfel de încetări, trebuie să distrugeți imediat SOFTWARE-ul licențiat, orice documente însoțitoare scrise și toate copiile acestuia.

DESCĂRCARE SOFTWARE

Dacă credeți că procesul de descărcare a fost defectuos, puteți contacta Yamaha, iar Yamaha vă va permite să descărcați din nou SOFTWARE-ul, cu condiția să distrugeți primele copiile sau copiile parțiale ale SOFTWARE-ului obținute prin încercarea de descărcare anterioară. Această permisiune de a descărca din nou nu trebuie să limiteze în niciun fel renunțarea la garanție din Secțiunea 5 de mai jos.

DECLINAREA GARANȚIEI SOFTWARE-ULUI

Recunoașteți în mod expres și sunteți de acord că folosirea SOFTWARE-ului este pe riscul dumneavoastră.. SOFTWARE-ul și documentația aferentă sunt furnizate "CA ATARE" și fără garanții de orice fel. FĂRĂ A SE ADRESA PRIN ORICE ALT TIP DE PROVIZIOANE ALE ACESTUI ACORD, YAMAHA DECLINĂ ÎN MOD EXPRES ORICE GARANȚII PRIVIND SOFTWARE-ULUI, EXPRES ȘI IMPLICIT, INCLUZÂND, DAR FĂRĂ A SE LIMITA LA GARANȚIILE IMPLICITE DE VANDABILITATE, ADECVARE PENTRU UN ANUMIT SCOP ȘI NEÎNCĂLCAREA DREPTURILOR TERȚE. ÎN MOD SPECIFIC, DAR FĂRĂ A SE LIMITA, YAMAHA NU GARANTEAZĂ CĂ SOFTWARE-UL VA RĂSPUNDE CERINȚELOR DUMNEAVOASTRĂ, CĂ FUNCȚIONAREA SOFTWARE-ULUI VA FI NEÎNTRERUPTĂ SAU FĂRĂ EROARE, SAU CĂ DEFECȚIUNILE DIN SOFTWARE VOR FI CORECTATE.

LIMITAREA RĂSPUNDERII

OBLIGAȚIA GENERALĂ A YAMAHA ESTE DE A PERMITE UTILIZAREA SOFTWARE-ULUI ÎN CONFORMITATE CU TERMENII STIPULAȚI. ÎN NICI UN CAZ, YAMAHA NU VA FI RESPONSABILĂ PENTRU DVS. SAU ORICE ALTĂ PERSOANĂ PENTRU ORICE DAUNE, INCLUZÂND, FĂRĂ LIMITARE, DAUNE DIRECTE, INDIRECTE, ACCIDENTALE SAU CONSECUTIVE, CHELTUIELI, PIERDERI, PIERDERI DE DATELE SAU ALTE DAUNE PROVENITE DIN UTILIZARE, INCAPACITATEA DE A UTILIZA SOFTWARE-UL, CHIAR DACĂ YAMAHA SAU UN DISTRIBUITOR AUTORIZAT A FOST INFORMAT DE POSIBILITATEA UNOR ASTFEL DE DAUNE. În niciun caz, răspunderea totală a Yamaha față de dvs. pentru toate daunele, pierderile și cauzele acțiunii (indiferent dacă este contractuală, delictuală sau de altă natură) ce depășesc suma plătită pentru SOFTWARE.

SOFTWARE TERȚI

Software-ul și datele părților terțe ("SOFTWARE TERȚI") pot fi atașate la SOFTWARE. În cazul în care, în materialele scrise sau pe datele electronice care însoțesc Software-ul, Yamaha identifică orice software și date ca SOFTWARE TERȚI, recunoașteți și sunteți de acord că trebuie să respectați prevederile oricărui acord furnizat împreună cu SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI și că partea SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI este responsabilă de orice garanție sau răspundere legată de sau provenind din SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI. Yamaha nu este răspunzătoare în niciun fel pentru SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI sau pentru utilizarea de către dvs.

Yamaha nu oferă garanții exprese cu privire la SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI. ÎN PLUS, Yamaha DECLINĂ ÎN MOD EXPRES ORICE GARANȚIE IMEDIATĂ, INCLUSIV, DAR FĂRĂ A SE LIMITA LA GARANȚIILE IMEDIATE DE COMERCIALIZARE ȘI DE ADECVARE PENTRU UN ANUMIT SCOP, ÎN CEEA CE PRIVEȘTE SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI.
Yamaha nu vă va furniza niciun service sau serviciu de întreținere cu privire la SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI.
Yamaha nu este răspunzătoare în fața dvs. sau a oricărei alte persoane pentru orice daune, inclusiv, fără limitare, daune directe, indirecte, incidentale sau consecutive, cheltuieli, profituri pierdute, date pierdute sau alte daune rezultate din utilizare, utilizarea incorectă sau incapacitatea de a folosi SOFTWARE-UL TERȚI.

NOTIFICAREA DREPTURILOR RESTRICȚIONATE DE GUVERNUL SUA:

Software-ul este un "element comercial", deoarece acest termen este definit la 48 C.F.R. 2.101 (octombrie 1995), constând în "software de calculator comercial" și "documentație comercială de software de calculator", astfel sunt utilizați acești termeni în 48 C.F.R. 12.212 (septembrie 1995). În concordanță cu 48 C.F.R. 12.212 și 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 până la 227.72024 (iunie 1995), toți utilizatorii finali din S.U.A. vor achiziționa Software-ul numai cu acele drepturi enunțate în prezentul document.

GENERAL

Prezentul acord va fi interpretat în conformitate cu legea japoneză și va fi guvernat de aceasta fără a se face referire la principiile conflictului între legi. Orice litigiu sau procedură vor fi audiate în fața instanței din Tokyo, Japonia. Dacă, din orice motiv, o instanță de jurisdicție competentă consideră că o parte din prezentul acord este inaplicabilă, restul acestui acord va continua să fie în vigoare și să producă efecte.

COMPLETAREA ACORDULUI

Prezentul Acord constituie întregul acord între părți cu privire la utilizarea SOFTWARE-ului și a oricăror materiale scrise însoțitoare și înlocuiește toate înțelegerile sau înțelegerile anterioare sau contemporane, în scris sau oral, referitoare la obiectul prezentului Acord. Nicio modificare sau revizuire a acestui Acord nu va fi obligatorie decât în scris și semnată de un reprezentant complet autorizat al Yamaha.
