Yamaha Expands the CK Series With the New Stage Keyboard CK76. Play anywhere with 76 keys, authentic sound and intuitive control
Yamaha Stage Keyboard CK76
HAMAMATSU, Japan ― Yamaha Corporation announces the release of the new CK76 stage keyboard. Offering authentic sound, intuitive control and the freedom to make music anywhere, the CK76 expands the CK series with a versatile new 76-key model.
Yamaha has previously introduced the CP Series of stage pianos, featuring high-quality piano sound, and the YC Series of stage keyboards, equipped with organ and FM tone generators, as keyboards designed for live performance, offering excellent playability and portability. In March 2023, Yamaha launched the CK Series, which inherits the essence of both series.
The new CK76 joins the 61-key and 88-key models in the CK Series, offering a versatile 76-key option with semi-weighted FSB keys that are well suited to electric piano performance, as well as an extensive selection of tones essential to band performance. It also features an intuitive interface for fast and easy sound creation. As the only stage keyboard in Yamaha’s lineup with built-in speakers. It can be connected to a microphone for playing and singing along, or to a device via Bluetooth for performing with audio backing. Its lightweight body also provides excellent portability, and because it can run on batteries, the CK76 can be enjoyed in a wide range of settings, from stages to street performances.

Key Features
1. More than 360 versatile sounds for live performance
The CK76 features more than 360 sounds, including acoustic pianos such as the Yamaha CFX and S700 premium concert grand pianos, as well as electric pianos such as Vintage Electric Piano and FM Electric Piano, which are essential to today’s music scene. It also offers a wide range of organ sounds, from Vintage Organ to Transistor Organ, powered by the Organ Flute tone generator, along with sounds from a variety of other instruments including strings, brass and guitar. Players can enjoy a wide range of authentic sounds for diverse musical performances.
2. One-to-One interface for intuitive, fast sound creation
All functions and controllers frequently used in live performances are located on the front panel, and the user interface adopts a One-to-One style where one function is assigned to one controller. This allows players to instantly control not only the switching of sound settings (Live Sets), but also filters and effects for sound creation, even during a performance.
The CK76 also features drawbars that allow players to create their preferred organ sounds, just like on a vintage organ. This supports players in expressing the music they envision.
3. Built-in speakers and battery powered to play anywhere
Despite its compact body, the CK76 is the only model in Yamaha’s stage keyboard lineup equipped with built-in stereo speakers (6W + 6W), allowing players to start performing without the need for external speakers. By connecting the keyboard to a microphone or to a smartphone or other device via Bluetooth, players can perform while singing along or play along with audio even in places without audio equipment. The CK76 also supports battery operation, allowing it to be used without cables for up to 4.5 hours with eight batteries.
4. Excellent portability with a lightweight body
Designed for active stage keyboardists who regularly carry their instruments with them, the 76-key model weighs just 6.7 kg, making it exceptionally lightweight compared with the YC and CP Series. The keyboard features semi-weighted FSB keys, delivering an authentic playing feel despite its lightweight design. As an optional accessory*, Yamaha also offers the SC-DE76, a soft case with backpack-style straps that allow it to be carried on the back.

Simultaneous release of the latest OS v2.0
Yamaha will release the latest OS v2.0 for the CK Series on Wednesday, October 21. The update adds Advanced Split Mode, a feature that divides the keyboard into up to three playing areas and allows different sounds to be freely assigned to each, as well as three new sounds: 74 Rd Studio, 67 Rd Dark/Bright and Wr Wide. These additions enable more complex live performances on a single instrument while giving players access to an even richer selection of sounds.
